If you’re like the average American, you use about 65 gallons of hot water every day in your sinks, showers, and appliances.
The problem is, you’re probably paying to heat considerably more water than that.
If you have a traditional water heater (one with a storage tank), your hot water spends most of its day hanging out in your cool basement waiting to be used.
