faqQ: Do you provide 24-hour service?

A: Yes. By 24-hour service, we mean that we always have someone on call to speak with you if you’re having a problem with your heat. In cases like this, we’ll dispatch a service technician to your home as soon as possible. But we can’t always guarantee that it will be within 24 hours because of conditions like call volume, weather conditions, etc.

Q: How can I save money by switching to Ace-Robbins?

A: We offer you many ways to save. First, our prices are always competitive because our storage facility allows us to purchase fuel in large capacities when market prices are most favorable.

Second, we offer programs like heating and air conditioning service plans, which keep your systems working efficiently and save you money on repair costs.

Third, we offer a generous 15-centsper-gallon discount to all of our EZ Pay customers.

Plus, we give customers 65 years of age and older a 5-cents per-gallon discount on every gallon of heating oil they buy from us. It’s one extra way we can help customers living on a fixed income get through our long Pennsylvania winters.

These are just a few examples of why it pays to be an Ace-Robbins customer.

Q: Do you always use your own installation and repair specialists or do you sometimes hire subcontractors?

A: We never hire subcontractors. We only send to your home our own certified, factory-trained technicians to repair or install heating and air conditioning systems. This is another way we save you money. We have a dedicated team of highly trained technicians, some of whom remain on call for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We consider our technicians the most highly trained and talented group in the industry.

Q: How long does it usually take to get an estimate on a new system?

A: Usually it’s only a matter of one day. We can come out to your home at your convenience and recommend the right size and type of system for you. 

Q: Approximately how long does it take you to complete an installation of an air conditioning unit or heating system?

A: Most of our installations can be done in less than a day, though every job and home is unique and certain circumstances may result in an installation taking longer than others.

Q: How do I know what size system to install?
A: The experts at Ace-Robbins will be happy to come to your home and calculate your cooling and heating “loads” to determine the size of your system, measured in BTUs. They will then be able to recommend a system that is the correct size and model to meet your home’s requirements. Q: Is annual equipment maintenance necessary?

A: Yes. When anything is operating virtually nonstop for months on end, it needs regular maintenance—just like your car. Without the regular maintenance of a heating and cooling tune-up, you lose efficiency and money. In addition, regular maintenance can extend the life of your system.
